Weekly Market Update India 22–28 Sep 2025: Nifty & Sensex Weekly Performance Down

The Indian stock market weekly update for 22–28 September 2025 ekdum tough raha. Markets ko lagataar 6 din ki girawat dekhne ko mili, aur dono frontline indices – Nifty 50 aur Sensex – apne crucial levels ke neeche close hue. Ye week investors ke liye reminder tha ki global policies ka asar hamare markets par directly padta hai.

Benchmark Performance

  • Nifty 50: Closed 24,654.70, girawat ~2.65% week-on-week.
  • Sensex: 80,426.46, down ~2.66%.
  • Bank Nifty: 54,389.35, ~1.9% gir gaya.

👉 Matlab ye tha ek weak nifty sensex weekly performance, jisme indices continuously pressure mein rahe.

Why Did Markets Fall?

Major hit aaya U.S. se:

  • 100% tariffs on branded drug imports.
  • H-1B visa fee hike (from $1,200 to $100,000).

Ye dono hi India ke sabse bade export sectors – IT aur Pharma – ko directly impact karte hain. TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra aur pharma giants jaise Sun Pharma neeche aaye, dragging the entire market.

Institutional Flows

Is hafte FIIs ne lagbhag ₹19,570 Cr sell kiya. Lekin, DIIs ne hero ki tarah aake ₹17,411 Cr buy kiya, jiski wajah se market ka fall zyada bada nahi hua. Ye clearly dikhata hai ki domestic liquidity ab ek strong shock absorber ban gayi hai.

Currency & Commodities

  • Rupee: ₹88.7/$ ke record low par.
  • Gold: $3,770/oz cross karke shine kiya, ekdum safe haven ban gaya.
  • Crude Oil: $70/bbl ke upar chala gaya, jo imported inflation ke liye negative hai.

Outlook

Short term mein market abhi bhi bearish but oversold hai. Nifty ke liye support 24,500 ke aas-paas aur resistance 25,000 pe hai. Sab ki nazar ab RBI ki policy meeting (Oct 1) aur U.S.–India trade talks pe hogi.
